About The Position

We are looking for someone to join our Advanced Engineering Team as a Machinist! Our 1st shift hours at 7am-3pm, but we can be flexible. The Machinist's primary role is to setup CNC and manual machines to produce quality parts and assemblies and to maintain and organize the machine area. The machinist needs to be able to edit programs and adjust setups as needed to increase efficiency and improve quality. They must be able maintain and organize prints, programs, setup and layout information. The cleanliness and organization of tools, equipment, work area and inventory also fall under their responsibility. The primary function is to provide machined components in a timely and cost effective way.

Requirements

Familiarity with programming CNC equipment using WorkNC or comparable product
Understanding of G&M codes used in CNC programs
Setup and operate mills, grinders, saws, lathes and hand tools
Ability to process machining operations
Ability to read micrometers, height gages, indicators and understand part and assembly prints
Ability to work independently with little direction and highly motivated
Strong mechanical background with ability to operate drill press, mill and other machining tools to assist with building machine components

Nice To Haves

Desire a basic understanding of: Tooling, Materials, Injection Molding
Hi-Lo License, preferred
