About The Position
CNC Machinists are responsible for operating a variety of manual and CNC machine tools, making adjustments to the machine, and detecting malfunctions in machine operations, such as worn or damaged cutting tools. This position offers a sign-on bonus of up to $2,500 and operates on a 12-hour rotation, 2-2-3 schedule, with options for days or nights.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or HSED/GED Equivalent
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Responsibilities
- Comply with all safety and health guidelines, quality standard practices/procedures, and housekeeping standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints and part drawings.
- Work independently by utilizing drawings and engineering information to determine methods and sequences of operations.
- Select the appropriate tools, machines, materials, speed, and feeds required to complete the machining of the assigned parts.
