About The Position

Moeller Precision Tool is hiring an experienced CNC Machinist for its night shift team near Nashville, Tennessee. The role produces high-quality tooling components, including tool steel components, in a clean, climate-controlled precision machining environment using CNC and manual equipment. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM, with training on day shift before transitioning to nights. The position typically involves 45–50 hours per week, with overtime required and paid at 1.5 times the regular rate after 40 hours. The stated pay is $26.25–$31.25 per hour, including a $2.25-per-hour night shift premium.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of CNC and/or manual machining experience.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to use precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.
• High school diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

• Experience operating CNC lathes, CNC mills, EDM equipment, or manual machining equipment is preferred.
• Experience working with tool steel is strongly preferred.
• Experience with Mazak, Fanuc, or similar CNC equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine setups and calibrations.
