About The Position

This Style Lathe Operator will be responsible for the Lathes with live tooling and Vertical Mill 4th & 5th Axis.

Requirements

• CNC Machine experience required
• Lathe experience with live tooling (Y axis) and sub-spindle
• Fluent in Shop Math
• Minimum of one year of shop experience
• Solid work history
• Must be able to frequently: push, pull, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, stand, see general and close up, hear, speak, use motor coordination - dexterity as well as eye, hand, foot and use of hand(s), wrist, arms, and fingers and arm(s) in any direction
• Must be able to occasionally: kneel, stoop, bend, grip, climb flights of stairs

Nice To Haves

• High School diploma/GED preferred
• Able to pass a background check and drug screen

Responsibilities

• Operate Lathes with live tooling (Y axis) and sub-spindle
• Operate Vertical Mill 4th & 5th Axis
• Read and interpret drawings
• Read micrometer and other precision instruments
• Calculate/adjust machine settings
• Identify/solve problems
• Maintain cleanliness of work area utilizing 5S techniques and methods
• Perform daily upkeep and maintenance of equipment
