Set up and operate 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machines according to work instructions, blueprints, and manufacturing plans. Perform machine startups, tooling setups, offsets, and program adjustments as needed. Inspect in-process and finished parts using precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, indicators, and CMMs. Monitor product quality, replace worn tooling, and troubleshoot machining issues. Complete production documentation and inspection records accurately. Perform basic preventative maintenance and report equipment repair needs. Follow all quality, safety, and production procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes and support special projects. Mentor less experienced machinists as needed. Perform other duties as assigned.
