CNC Machinist

Requirements
- Ability to operate various types of machine tools to perform progressive machining.
- Ability to read blueprints and plans.
- Excellent mechanical skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Nice To Haves
- Vocational/technical school training and apprenticeship in Machining Technology or CNC Machining trade school preferred.
Responsibilities
- Bring precision parts to life by setting up, operating, and adjusting CNC machines based on detailed work orders.
- Produce high-quality machined components through accurate setup, production, and inspection processes.
- Choose the right tools, fixtures, and materials to ensure efficient and accurate machining.
- Verify part quality using precision measuring tools and CMM equipment to ensure tight tolerances.
- Troubleshoot and correct machining issues by adjusting equipment as needed.
- Interpret blueprints, layouts, and GD&T requirements to ensure proper execution of each job.
- Keep production data accurate through detailed EPICOR reporting.
- Maximize efficiency by completing secondary tasks during machine cycle times.
- Support equipment reliability through minor maintenance and inspections.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment.
- Follow all safety standards while contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
