As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for programming, operating, and troubleshooting CNC machines, ensuring precision manufacturing of railroad track materials. You’ll read blueprints, interpret G-code, and work with various manual tools to maintain quality and efficiency throughout the production process. This role involves working with 3 and 5-axis CNC machines, requiring a sharp eye for detail and the ability to adapt quickly as priorities shift. The right candidate will bring hands-on experience in CNC machining, a strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently while also collaborating within a team.

Requirements

Prior experience in CNC machining
Background in industrial or manufacturing environments
Problem solver, adaptable, and confident in ability to work with minimal supervision
High School Diploma or GED
Proficiency in measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers
Ability to understand technical instructions
Ability to remain flexible in a dynamic production setting

Responsibilities

Program CNC software, operate machines, and ensure quality production.
Read and interpret blueprints, G-code, and work orders to execute precise machining.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and adjust machine settings to optimize performance.
Work in a heavy industrial environment, using manual tools and equipment as needed.
