CNC Machinist - 3 Day Work Week!
About The Position
A to Z Machine is seeking experienced CNC machinists for their 2nd shift, offering a 4-day work week with 3-day weekends. This full-time, high-impact role is ideal for individuals who enjoy solving complex problems, mastering challenging blueprints, and delivering high-precision results. The role involves machining complex, custom parts with high precision and autonomy, programming, problem-solving, interpreting blueprints, and mentoring junior machinists and apprentices. Adherence to industry-leading safety, quality, and 6S standards is expected. The schedule for the 2nd shift is Monday-Wednesday, 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM, with pay for 40 hours and optional Thursday overtime. This position offers variety and challenge daily.
Requirements
- 5+ years of machining experience in a job shop environment
- Strong problem-solving, prioritization, and communication skills
- Proven ability to work independently and efficiently
- Passion for precision, teamwork, and continuous improvement
