About The Position

Prince Industries is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist Setup Operator for their Turning operations. This role involves manufacturing precision metal products on CNC Turning Centers, specifically operating Twin Spindle / Twin Turret machines from Eurotech and Mori Seiki. The position requires machining metallic and nonmetallic workpieces for the Aerospace Industry. Prince Industries, founded in 1959, is a global manufacturing partner with seven facilities across the U.S. and China, serving industries from hydraulics to aerospace. They are certified to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 13485, and AS9100 standards.

Requirements

  • 2 Years - Setup and Operating Twin Spindle / Twin Turret
  • 2 Years - Precision CNC Machining Experience with Fanuc Controls
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Regularly required to stand and reach the duration of shift, 8 hours.
  • Occasionally required to walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or bend.
  • Frequently required to perform repetitive or short-cycles work.
  • Regularly lift, push, or pull up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong work ethic: Willing to work OT to meet tight deadlines as needed.
  • Understands and observes all necessary safety procedures: safety glasses, shoes, ear protection, machine interlocks, lifting guidelines, etc. as designated in specific work area assigned.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and accurately in noisy environments.
  • Must also have close, distance, and peripheral vision, with the ability to adjust focus and judge depth.
  • Color vision is required as well.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
  • Due to ITAR regulations, only U.S. persons—defined as U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents (Green Card holders), and U.S. nationals—are eligible for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret process plans, and blueprints to determine necessary machining, dimensional specifications, and operating requirements.
  • Utilizes various types of inspection instruments to check work per print.
  • Completes necessary job-related paperwork to include part identification, inspection documents, and production log.
  • Perform basic equipment maintenance: proper coolant levels, filters, fan operation, cleans machine, etc.
