About The Position
MasterTech is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist/Programmer in Salt Lake City. This role involves programming, setting up, and operating Mazak Machines using Mazatrol. The ideal candidate will also troubleshoot machinery, operate mills and lathes, collaborate with engineers on blueprints and CAD models, develop efficient machining strategies, and train junior machinists, all while maintaining a safe work environment.
Requirements
- 5 or more years of experience in the trade.
- Highly proficient with Mazak Mazatrol.
- Excellent understanding of G-Code programming and CNC Machining principles.
- Experience programming with Mastercam Software.
- Able to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Nice To Haves
- Leadership experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Programming, set up, and operation of Mazak Machines utilizing Mazatrol programming language.
