About The Position

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist & Programmer to join our team. This role involves performing machine setup and shutdown, programming parts for machining, operating CNC machines, and conducting routine maintenance. You will be responsible for interpreting part prints and step files using Solidworks, deburring and polishing parts, requesting necessary materials and tooling, collaborating with the Development Department on new designs, and performing quality checks on manufactured parts. Other duties as assigned by management will also be part of this role.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of CNC tooling and related hardware.
  • Skilled in verbal communication
  • Ability to read part prints.
  • Accomplish work utilizing and abiding by ISO requirements and safety procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, Solidworks, and Camworks programs.
  • Knowledge of FANUC G-code programming.
  • Knowledge of Haas controls.
  • Able to lift 50+ lbs.
  • Succeeds in self-management.
  • Strong problem-solving ability.

Nice To Haves

  • Machinist Associate's Degree
  • 4-5 years of experience in related field
  • Experience Using BobCAM software is a Plus
  • Experience Using Haas brand 3 Axis Mill’s is a Plus

Responsibilities
