Requirements

  • At least one year of experience programming and operating CNC lathes and CNC milling machines.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to use precision measuring instruments and troubleshoot machining challenges to produce accurate, high-quality parts.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently while consistently delivering quality workmanship with minimal supervision.
  • Enjoys improving machining processes, optimizing production efficiency, and finding practical solutions to manufacturing challenges.
  • Takes pride in producing quality work, values integrity and continuous improvement, and enjoys contributing to a collaborative, family-oriented manufacturing team.
  • Experience with measuring instruments
  • Troubleshooting machining challenges

Responsibilities

  • Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes and milling machines to produce precision agricultural components.
  • Select tooling, fixtures, speeds, and feeds to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Produce first-run and short-run parts that meet exact specifications.
  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment.
  • Optimize machining processes to improve quality and production efficiency.
  • Work with engineering and production teams to solve machining challenges.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean, safe work area.
