About The Position
The primary purpose of this job is to set up, operate, and maintain CNC equipment to manufacture precision parts.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- 2 - 6 years machine shop experience in all phases of machining, including 3 years of CNC experience or journeymen machinist
- Ability to read, interpret and understand blueprints
- Ability to work with small precision parts to very close tolerances
- Capability to use basic inspection tools and techniques
- Capacity to understand and follow through with verbal or written instructions
- Good understanding of shop math
- Proficient with interpersonal relations, organization and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple machines at same time
- Operate CNC machines and run proficiently
- Oversee set up and tool changes of CNC lathes and mills
