About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented CNC Mill Operator to set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision components that meet customer specifications. This role focuses on efficient production, quality control, and adherence to safety standards in a manufacturing environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
2–3 years of CNC milling experience preferred
Experience with CNC controls (e.g., Fanuc, Haas, or similar)
Basic computer skills
Strong understanding of CNC processes
Familiarity with tooling, inserts, speeds, and feeds for various materials
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Knowledge of metals, alloys, and material behavior during machining
Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
Experience using hoists or overhead cranes to move materials
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Capable of working independently after training
Must have dependable transportation
Pass a pre-employment drug screening

Technical or vocational training in machining preferred

Responsibilities

Perform all tasks in a safe and responsible manner
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders
Set up and operate CNC mills, including tool changes and offsets
Load raw materials and monitor machining processes during production runs
Measure and inspect parts using precision instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges) to ensure tolerance compliance
Make minor program edits and adjust machine offsets as needed
Identify and replace worn or damaged tooling
Maintain consistent production output while ensuring quality standards
Troubleshoot basic machining or tooling issues and escalate as needed
Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance on equipment
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Work collaboratively to meet production goals and deadlines
