About The Position

The Computerized Numerical Control (CNC) Machinist will work at the Erlanger, KY Service Center to service and manufacture large scale, power generation equipment along with their subassemblies by following blueprints and specific work instructions. As the CNC Machinist, you will work in a shop environment safely with zero accidents and/or injuries. You will set-up and operate various CNC Machine Tools Horizontal/Vertical Mills, read CNC programs, be familiar with G & M codes, and make minor edits to CNC programs. You will also read and interpret Engineered Blueprint drawings, understand and apply geometric tolerances, and set up and safely use various inspection tools and gages (i.e. inner diameter (I/D) & outer diameter (O/D) Mics, calipers, Pi-tape, bore gages, Tri-mics, thread gages, etc.). The role requires machining to required tolerances of .001” - .005”, determining machining feeds and speeds and tool selections, and working effectively with the team to ensure successful delivery to the customer.

Requirements
