CNC Machinist/Machine Operator
About The Position
Lakeland Manufacturing is currently hiring for 3 openings, including opportunities for CNC Machinist, Swiss Machinist, and Machine Operator. Since 1989, Lakeland Manufacturing has been producing precision machined components for customers across a variety of industries. Requirements
- Machining or manufacturing experience.
- Pride in producing quality work.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to work safely around moving machinery and production equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Commitment to quality, accuracy, and safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
Nice To Haves
- Experience operating CNC lathes, mills, Swiss machines, or other manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience using precision measuring tools including calipers and micrometers.
- Experience setting up CNC equipment.
- Experience editing offsets, tooling, and machine programs.
- Knowledge of G-Code, M-Code, Mazatrol, or other CNC controls preferred.
- Ability to hold tight tolerances and perform advanced inspections.
- Experience with continuous improvement and process optimization.
Responsibilities
- Operating CNC lathes, mills, Swiss machines, or other manufacturing equipment.
