CNC Machinist III

Kurt Manufacturing is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to perform all operations to set up equipment and fixtures in the machining center. This position will primarily run 5+ axis, complex machines (for example, mill-turn and complex lathes).
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 5 years of related experience
- Ability to perform metric conversions
- Must be able to read and understand blueprints, specifications, and routings
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
- 10 or more years of related experience
Responsibilities
- Sets up, adjusts, checks out programming, and operates CNC machines to perform a series of progressive machining operations requiring a high degree of skill.
- Perform daily maintenance of machines as required.
- Operators may run more than one unit simultaneously.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area.
