About The Position

Zenix Aerospace is hiring a full-time CNC Machinist III for the second shift at its Jet Products facility in Kearny Mesa, San Diego, California. The role sets up and operates CNC lathes, mills, and vertical turret lathes (VTLs) to produce precision metal parts. The machinist determines material dimensions and tolerances and sequences machining operations by studying blueprints, sketches, routers, and technical planning documents, following established specifications. Assignments range from complex to potentially difficult and may involve multi-axis lathes and mills. Precision measuring tools are used to verify work accuracy. The stated shift is Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., with a 5% differential for second-shift hours.
