Requirements

• High school graduate or G.E.D.
• A minimum of 4 - 7 years’ experience doing setups, edits, and machining on CNC Lathes
• Candidates must be able to read prints to do own setup & editing as needed during runs.
• Experience with carbon, stainless, Duplex materials.
• Experience running station with multiple machines in a fast-paced work environment
• Pre-employment drug screening

• Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Working in various weather conditions
• Travel to remote locations

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Okuma Lathes with Live Tooling a major plus.
• Experience with G-Codes & Okuma Controls (OSP – 200LA and 300) a major plus.

Responsibilities

• Read & Interpret Blueprints and Drawing to Setup, Edit, and Machine Parts (Fasteners, Midlines) to tight specifications and tolerances
• Responsible for operating and running stations with up to two NC lathes
• Machine small to mid-size parts (2–8-inch midlines/fasteners for Flexible Piping)
• Utilize common machining tools: Micrometers, Calipers, Gauges, etc. to perform QC on finished parts.
• Fast Pace, but precise work
• Ability to keep a safe and clean working environment. Shop is kept very organized and clean.
• Work in a safe manner.
• Responsible for quality of parts produced.
• Responsible for documentation generated or related to production of the job.
• Work within tolerances of +/-.005”.
• Work from blueprints, sketches, and process control documents.
• Assumes other duties and responsibilities as required.
• All candidates must be punctual and reliable. Strict attendance policy.
• All other duties as assigned
