About The Position

We're hiring a skilled CNC Machinist II to support the production of precision components in a dynamic, low-volume manufacturing environment. This role involves setting up and operating advanced CNC equipment to produce complex parts across a range of materials while maintaining tight tolerances and high quality standards. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on machining, problem-solving, and working on a variety of custom or short-run jobs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 3–5+ years of experience in CNC machining
• Experience working with tight-tolerance, precision parts
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, including GD&T
• Working knowledge of G-code and M-code
• Experience with multi-axis machining (5-axis is a strong advantage)
• Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
• Mechanical aptitude and solid math skills
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues
• Comfortable working independently and managing time effectively
• Positive attitude with a willingness to support the team

Nice To Haves

• machining certification is a plus

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes, including multi-axis equipment
• Produce parts to exact specifications, holding tight tolerances
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions
• Perform first article and in-process inspections
• Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and CMM equipment
• Make tool adjustments and assist with tool maintenance as needed
• Maintain organized work areas and follow 5S and safety practices
• Support team initiatives and assist with additional shop needs when required
