About The Position

Air Squared Manufacturing, LLC is hiring CNC Machinists I to set up and operate Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines and make program changes or edits as needed. The company manufactures scroll-type compressors, vacuum pumps, and expanders for the medical, aerospace, fuel cell, and power generation industries. The position is full-time and non-exempt, located in Thornton, Colorado. The listed pay range is $26–$34 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Multiple shifts are available: first shift Monday through Thursday, 5:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.; second shift Monday through Thursday, 3:30 p.m.–2:00 a.m., with a $1 per hour shift differential; third shift Friday through Sunday, 7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m., with a 12% shift differential; and fourth shift Friday through Sunday, 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m., with a 15% shift differential. Air Squared works on projects in areas including NASA MOXIE, electric and autonomous vehicles, and clean energy initiatives. Applicants must submit a resume to be considered.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 3 years of experience operating and setting up CNC mills and/or lathes using conversational programming.

Responsibilities

Make program adjustments as needed.
Read and interpret technical drawings to determine machine setup and production methods.
Use inspection equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and various gauges.
Verify that finished first articles conform to specifications; make necessary adjustments and conduct subsequent workpiece inspections to maintain the desired quality level.
Complete required documentation.
Perform and document preventive maintenance as needed.
Deburr machined metal parts.
Assist with shipping preparation, including packaging, shipping, and receiving, as needed.
Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.
