CNC Machinist I - Night Shift

About The Position

Operates both manual and CNC equipment for the efficient production of quality components. Responsible for the production of high-tolerance precision parts. This is a night shift position. First week: Monday - Wednesday 6:00pm - 6:30am. Second week: Monday - Wednesday 6:00pm - 6:30am, Thursday 6:00pm - 2:30am. Pay: $29.00 with $3.00 shift differential as applicable.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Vocational/Technical - CNC Machining degree or
• Minimum one plus years CNC Machine operation
• Knowledge of MS Office applications including Word, Excel

Responsibilities

• Interpret technical prints.
• Setup, operate and adjust machining equipment for production efficiency with supervision.
• Monitors quality of parts produced to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Abides by all Company safety and health policies and procedures.
• Must use personal protective equipment if required.
• Aware of and conforms to company ISO goals and objectives, and supports company ISO requirements.
• Aware of and actively participates in company’s Lean philosophy of continuous improvement.
• Ensures measuring devices used to check product quality are calibrated prior to use.
• Maintains in-process product identification.
• Follows procedure for handling nonconforming parts
