Responsibilities
- Setting up, operating, and optimizing precision machining equipment while producing high-quality components that meet engineering and customer specifications.
- Machine setup and changeovers
- Blueprint and GD&T interpretation
- Selecting tooling and fixtures
- Setting feeds, speeds, and offsets
- Performing quality inspections
- Troubleshooting machining issues
- Optimizing cycle times
- Producing precision parts within tight tolerances
- Maintaining a safe and organized workspace
