About The Position

The focus of this position is to produce mold components in the Additive Manufacturing (Metal 3D Printing) area within MMS at US6 Greenville. To produce mold parts on CNC machines according to production plan and respecting safety, quality, quantity and lead time conditions. Monitor the condition and performance of the available equipment by analyzing the abnormalities, setting up the corrective actions, if possible, and suggesting solutions for continuous improvement. Manufacture and/or assemble mold part(s) to prescribed methods and drawings using NC and manual machines and fixtures. Manufacture and/or assemble mold part(s) to prescribed methods and drawings using the direct machining process. To execute the responsibilities as a MMW Professional in a MAPP environment, to include such duties as: Maintain good housekeeping and perform all duties in a safe manner. Apply Post Documentation as required. Documentation, data collection and retention. Adhere to all quality standards and apply quality techniques as required to meet the RFT Goals Record daily information as required. Function as a spoke in an MDP environment. Set up and operate NC and manual equipment. Measurement of mold parts with various gaging instruments. Hand work of mold parts. Capable in mathematics and geometry. Capable of reading mechanical drawings, symbols, and specifications that pertain to mold parts. Must be capable of achieving a Level MP2T within 36 months. Technical assessment may be required. Must be willing to work flexible hours and shift schedules, including overtime and call-in. A, B, 24x7 dependent on business needs. Must be able to perform assigned duties with limited supervision. Safety and Quality rules are respected. Molds elements are produced respecting defined efficiency (ex. TRSP, RFT, quantity). Production reporting is made available and shared. CNC machines are used according to their purpose and with defined process parameter. Other duties as assigned to meet production needs of the site. Applicants must pass Machinist test and progress to MP2T. Previous machining experience is required for applicants.
