About The Position

ZF is a global technology company supplying systems for passenger cars, commercial vehicles and industrial technology. ZF is currently recruiting for a CNC Machining Post Process Technician at their Fowlerville plant, which is home to the global production of Gen1 Integrated Brake Control (IBC) systems. These systems offer excellent responsiveness for automatic emergency braking and power regeneration for vehicle electrification. The ZF Fowlerville plant is a powerhouse of lean manufacturing, shipping up to 6,500 brake units each day and handling 58 million components a month.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent
Minimum 2 years related mechanical or electrical experience
Strong troubleshooting skills

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of Fanuc/UR robots helpful but not required
Applicable apprenticeship or in-house training program preferred

Responsibilities

Performing maintenance and repairs on CNC Machining centers, high pressure water deburr systems and additional production equipment.
Competent troubleshooting electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Perform preventative maintenance programs on production equipment (i.e., cleaning, retooling, oil-changing, calibrating, aligning, etc.).
Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrate strong communication skills.
