About The Position

Join Roush Yates Manufacturing Solutions in Mooresville, NC, as a Full-Time CNC Machine Technician and be part of an innovative team that thrives on high performance and excellence. Your daily responsibilities will involve the setup and operation of various machine tools for repeat production. You will adeptly read and interpret machine positions and distance-to-go metrics while efficiently setting up CNC equipment, including multi-axis mills, often with minimal supervision. You will be responsible for operating multiple machines to ensure production goals are met, collaborating closely with Production Technicians to troubleshoot and uphold quality standards. Your role will also include performing inspections as outlined in the inspection plan, making necessary offsets and adjustments to maintain product conformity. Additionally, you will identify non-conformance issues, document them, and implement corrections while conducting basic machine maintenance daily to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Requirements

  • 5-7+ Years of experience in CNC Machining or Equivalent Education.
  • Experience setting up and operating CNC machines.
  • Ability to understand Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance AMSE Y14.5.
  • Ability to use Metrology tools and equipment.
  • Ability to manufacture parts within tolerance and specifications.
  • Understanding of CNC equipment capability, part processing, and machining.
  • Must perform all duties in conjunction with Quality Management System requirements.
  • Able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Long periods of standing.
  • Must meet minimum vision standards, corrected or uncorrected, as follows: Snellen 14/18, 20/25 or better, Jaeger Type 2 at 14 inches, or Ortho-Rated 8.
  • Consistent, punctual attendance for your scheduled shift.
  • For ITAR compliance, all employees at this location must be a US citizen or a lawful permanent resident.
