About The Position

Blue Origin Operations is seeking a CNC Machine Programmer for its Advanced Manufacturing team. The role develops and modifies NC programs for mills, lathes, and multi-axis machines used to produce spaceflight components. It combines CAM programming for low-volume, highly unique aerospace components with machining those parts on large-scale, multi-axis machines. The role emphasizes design for manufacturing, new product introduction, accurate programs and setup sheets, and first-article success on tight-tolerance, high-value parts. The programmer works with Engineering to develop hardware and document and standardize production processes. They take products from initial work-holding and tooling selection through programming, setup, machining, and inspection, communicating with design teams throughout the product lifecycle. Openings are pooled across the Advanced Manufacturing team, with levels 3 and 4 identified as ideal while applicants at all levels are welcome. Relocation is provided. Available schedules are A Shift, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and B Shift, Monday through Friday, 2:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.
