About The Position
We are hiring a CNC Machine Operator for a hands-on manufacturing position. This is not a passive machine-monitoring role. You will be actively involved in setting up and operating CNC equipment, making adjustments, checking finished parts, and maintaining production quality. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, dependable, and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.
Requirements
- Previous CNC machine operation or manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience with CNC setup is a plus
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and technical drawings
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Comfortable using hand tools and measuring equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Dependable and self-motivated
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to quality and safety
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines and equipment
- Prepare machines for production runs and job changes
- Load and unload materials and finished parts
- Follow work orders, drawings, and production specifications
- Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as needed
- Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy
- Use measuring tools to verify dimensions and specifications
- Identify and troubleshoot basic machine or production issues
- Maintain consistent production and quality standards
- Perform basic machine maintenance and housekeeping
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe
- Follow all safety procedures and production guidelines
- Complete production and quality documentation as required
