Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
0-1 years’ minimum proven experience as a Machine Operator working in CNC machining/fabrication production environment required (Level I).
1+ years’ minimum experience working in CNC machining/fabrication production environment required (Level II).
Basic shop math skills.
Knowledge of end mills, drills, reamers, and assessment of tool condition.
Capable of using measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, etc.).
Ability to read blueprints, work instructions, and inspection criteria.
Record SPC data with basic understanding of SPC.
Analytical skills and attention to detail.
Teamwork and communication skills.
Able to understand and Interpret SPC data and make recommendations (Level II).
Ability to work independently with minimal to no supervision (Level II).

Responsibilities

Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow standard safety procedures and personal protective equipment requirements.
Operate CNC machines to build production work order (load, unload, cleaning, and inspection parts).
Conduct in-process inspection of components to ensure conformity to quality requirements using precision measuring instruments and able to read and understand part drawings and basic GD&T.
Identify issues that may require adjustment of machine settings.
Perform accurate and timely job tasking, line clearance, and production reporting of work orders.
Operate part washer.
Monitor and update shop floor visual board.
Perform startup on CNC machines.
Support Level I Operator.
Rapidly recognize non-standard equipment/process performance.
Run multiple production part numbers on CNC machine with no supervision.
All other duties as assigned.
