The CNC Machinist runs numerically controlled machining and turning centers and uses machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments. This position works from part drawings and specifications. You'll identify tooling, machine malfunctions, and operating problems and report issues to the lead contact for corrections and adjustments. In addition, the CNC Operator makes offsets and tool changes to produce quality parts, working with tolerances that need to be exact to within +/- .05mm. This is a 2nd shift position. Hours are 2:30 pm to 12:00 am.
