About The Position

Responsible for operating and maintaining computer numerically controlled (CNC) routers to cut and shape various materials into specified forms, shapes, and sizes. They will also be responsible for ensuring that all products are of the highest quality and meet customer specifications.

Requirements

Basic understanding of wood species.
Requires excellent attention to detail and a results driven approach.
Able to use a tape measure and calipers.
Able to perform to production standards.
Ability to determine common quality defects in material.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills both verbal and written.
Able to lift heavy objects in excess of 30 lbs without considerations.
Requires excellent time management skills.
Basic math and computer skills.
Follow direction and instruction - coachable
Work well with other employees
Follow safety guideline

Nice To Haves

Understanding of CAD/CAM a plus
Skill in operating CNC machinery is a plus.

Responsibilities

Follow the set up, shut down and operation instructions.
Able to perform changeovers and replace tooling as required.
Ability to read and interpret drawings and shop routings.
Ensure all work is completed per the work order.
Ensure all quality standards are met. Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly.
Perform all design maintenance tasks and maintain a clean work area.
Ability to perform other duties as assigned.
Ability to work overtime as required.
