Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Minimum 2 years of CNC machine operation experience (programming not required)
Ability to read a tape measure and interpret blueprints
Basic math and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

Operate CNC machines and other production equipment such as drills, grinders, forklifts, and burners to manufacture high-quality steel parts accurately and safely.
Run pre-written CNC programs and handle materials with remote-controlled cranes.
Read and analyze blueprints and technical specifications to ensure parts meet required dimensions and tolerances.
Monitor production processes, perform quality checks, and document any exceptions or issues.
Address problems promptly to maintain high standards and comply with safety protocols.
Work closely with shop employees and report directly to the Manufacturing Supervisor to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
Participate in a 6–8 week training period to build skills and knowledge necessary for success in the role.
