About The Position

Frazer builds emergency medical vehicles and mobile healthcare units that end up on the front lines of communities everywhere. Our CNC Operators are the ones turning raw sheet metal into the precise parts that hold those vehicles together, so accuracy and consistency matter every single shift. This is hands-on production work that directly shapes the quality of what we ship.

Requirements

0-1 years of CNC or manufacturing production experience.
Experience working with sheet materials such as plastic, stainless steel, carbon steel, and aluminum.
Comfortable reading work orders and technical drawings.
Hands-on and don't mind getting dirty to get the job done right.
Catch mistakes before they leave your station, not after.
Can read a work order and drawing without needing someone to walk you through it.
Hold yourself accountable when something goes wrong instead of pointing fingers.
Comfortable learning new equipment and adapting when the job changes.
Follow safety procedures because you understand why they matter, not just because you're told to.

Nice To Haves

CNC operator certification.
Working knowledge of G&M code or FANUC controls.
Experience downloading and managing CNC programs.

Responsibilities

Reviews the day's work orders and drawings before setting up the first job.
Stages plastic, aluminum, and steel sheet material for upcoming production runs.
Sets up tooling and loads programs into the CNC punch press or brake press.
Runs parts, watching closely for jams, tool wear, or material shifts.
Inspects completed parts against the drawing and sets aside anything out of tolerance.
Clears a machine jam mid-shift and gets production back up within minutes.
Wraps up the shift with machine maintenance, housekeeping, and scrap bin cleanup.
Cross-trains on a second CNC machine type to build shop-floor versatility.
