CNC Machine Operators operate computer-controlled machines to perform one or more machine functions required to produce customer orders. Skilled Machine Operators are critical to our success, and the reliability and accuracy of our operators is essential. This role operates automated CNC Vertical and horizontal machines, performs daily point checks, meets departmental goals, interprets blueprints, uses precision measuring tools, removes and replaces cutting tools, mounts and aligns tools and workpieces, listens to machines for operational issues, adjusts machine feeds and speeds, stops machines to remove workpieces or change tooling, lifts workpieces, enters control instructions, monitors coolant systems, transfers commands to CNC modules, sets up future jobs, assists in training new operators, and deburrs machined parts. The position requires regular attendance on site.
