This role involves operating Computer Numerical Control (CNC) HELLER machining centers with Siemens 840 D Controllers according to instructions, routings, control plans, production requirements, plans and diagrams. You will study machining instructions, routings, control plans, job orders, and blueprints to determine dimensional and finish specifications, sequences of operations, complex machine setups, and tooling requirements. The position also includes selecting appropriate tools and materials, setting up and adjusting machine tools, checking precision measuring instruments, performing fine-tuning of tools/equipment, observing machine operations, stopping machines to remove work pieces or change tooling, measuring dimensions of finished work pieces, and maintaining industrial machines within Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) specifications. Additionally, you will comply with safety regulations, maintain clean work areas, identify and reduce non-value-added work, perform special projects, and promote a compliance culture.
