About The Position

The Machine Operator is responsible for interpreting work orders, identifying door specifications, and operating equipment to fabricate and assemble fiberglass, aluminum, and wood products. This role supports production operations by ensuring materials are prepared accurately, products meet quality standards, and workflow remains efficient throughout the manufacturing process. Success in this role requires attention to detail, safe material handling, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to maintain productivity in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

  • Read work orders to determine production specifications for each door.
  • Locate, pull, and modify door slabs and components according to order requirements.
  • Use hand and power tools to fabricate, assemble, and disassemble fiberglass, aluminum, and wood products.
  • Move doors and materials between production stations, including handling products weighing up to 75 pounds.
  • Inspect finished products for defects, production errors, and quality concerns.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while performing light equipment maintenance and other assigned duties.
  • Support daily production operations while following established safety procedures and quality standards.
