Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance and 5 years of machining maintenance technician experience in a heavy-duty manufacturing environment; or completion of apprenticeship or training program and 7 years of machining maintenance technician experience in a heavy-duty manufacturing environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of HELLER CNC machines.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with machine tool control CNC programming applications (Siemens 840D CNC)
  • Advanced knowledge in a variety of machines and tools such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, taps or dies and hoists; including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Rolls Royce Solutions products, policies, and procedures
  • Excellent knowledge of MTM parts washers, Knoll coolant systems, LTA filter system.
  • Strong knowledge of Manual Machining Equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of total productive maintenance principles (TPM).

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical components of the machines.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and repair Knoll cooling lubricant tanks and MTM washing machines, including cleaning and refilling as necessary.
  • Monitor and maintaining machining and facility equipment and associated fluids.
  • Monitor and ordering of bulk Nitrogen.
  • Monitor and repair transfer tanks.
  • Documentation of malfunctions and the measures taken of used spare parts.
  • Coordinate training and provide coaching to less senior technicians.
