About The Position

Regal Rexnord Cleveland, home of our Nook Brand, is currently hiring CNC Lathe Set up, Production Operator 2nd shift. Starting pay range of $26-$30, shift differential is included Plus…benefits on day 1,401(k) with match, paid time off as well as joining a growing Company with a great team. As a CNC Lathe Set Up, Production Operator at Regal Rexnord Cleveland your focus will be to: Set up to operate CNC Lathe machinery upholding and adhering to production standards and ISO 9001 regulations and guidelines. Inspect product to print, looking for any flaws and defect of material, including deburring if necessary. Interpret drawings, specifications, process sheets, program readouts and shop orders to plan and check work. Obtain proper set of tools from tool crib, select holders, mount, secure, and check tools for accuracy. Interpret drawings, route sheets, diagrams, specifications, and instructions to determine proper operation sequences. Make necessary calculations for tool depth and tool compensation adjustments. Move completed material to the next workstation. Maintain clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

  • Ability to interpret and understand verbal and written directions.
  • Mechanically inclined with strong math skills.
  • Ability to read basic measuring devices, including micrometers, and calipers.
  • Working knowledge of surface footage and feed rates and experienced in calculating feeds and speeds.
  • Must successfully complete a blueprint reading course.

Nice To Haves

  • One year certificate from college or technical school preferred.
