About The Position
We are seeking an experienced CNC Operator for our 2nd shift team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience operating CNC machinery in an aerospace or defense manufacturing environment and is comfortable working with Fanuc controls. This role involves operating CNC machines to produce precision aerospace and defense components, setting up and operating CNC equipment using Fanuc controls, reading and interpreting blueprints, performing in-process inspections, monitoring machine operation, and maintaining quality, productivity, and safety standards.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Fanuc CNC controls
- Aerospace or defense manufacturing experience
- CNC machine operation experience
- Must be ITAR compliant and legally authorized to work on ITAR-controlled projects
- Reliable attendance and ability to work 2nd shift
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines to produce precision aerospace and defense components.
- Set up and operate CNC equipment using Fanuc controls.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
- Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments.
- Monitor machine operation and make basic adjustments as needed.
- Maintain quality, productivity, and safety standards.
