About The Position

The Ulven Companies is seeking experienced CNC Lathe Operators to join our skilled, safety-focused team in Hubbard, OR. We will provide full training on our unique processes and products, and your lathe experience will get you in the door. This is a stable full-time position with day shift options, offering the opportunity to work on complex, real-world parts rather than repetitive production work. You will run live tooling CNC lathes with varied setups and part geometries, learning from expert machinists in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

• 2-4 years CNC running lathes
• Comfortable working with alloy and stainless materials
• Ability to read prints, technical drawings, and work instructions
• Experience with measuring tools and basic computer/data entry
• Mechanical aptitude, strong attention to detail, and commitment to safety
• Collaborative, dependable, and with effective communication skills
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs. (75+ with assistance), stand for shifts, and work in a manufacturing environment
• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (ITAR compliance required)
• Pre-employment drug test and background check

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Fanuc or Mitsubishi controls preferred
• Programming experience is a plus, not required

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes with live tooling
• Perform tool changes, offsets, and in-process adjustments
• Conduct in-process and final inspections using precision tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges etc.)
• Maintain machines, follow safety protocols, and keep an organized workspace
• Record production/quality data accurately per our Quality Management System (QMS)
