The CNC Machinist II is responsible for independently setting up, operating, inspecting, and troubleshooting CNC machining work for standard production jobs. This role requires the ability to perform full setups, read complex prints, apply common GD&T requirements, make basic program edits, select appropriate tooling, and complete in-process inspection to ensure parts meet quality and production standards. A CNC Machinist II is a fully independent machinist for standard production work. This role is expected to maintain productivity and quality, resolve common machining issues, support simultaneous operations where applicable, and assist less experienced machinists or operators as needed.
