About The Position

We are seeking a qualified applicant for the position of CNC Lathe Operator. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Safely follow procedures Change programs and set tools as needed Operate overhead cranes and material handlers Lifting, pushing, or pulling materials Working in a fast-paced and very physically demanding role Working in multiple roles with teammates on time sensitive deadlines Maintaining inventory counts Operating basic hand tools Schedule flexibility Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED required
• CNC experience

Nice To Haves

• CNC programming experience
• Pipe threading experience
• Previous CNC production experience
