About The Position

Volt is immediately hiring for a CNC Lathe Operator – 2nd Shift in the greater Valencia, CA area. As a CNC Lathe Operator, you will set up and operate CNC lathe machines to manufacture precision components to specification. You will load raw materials and unload finished parts while maintaining workflow efficiency. Additionally, you will monitor machine operations and make minor adjustments to maintain quality standards, perform routine equipment checks to ensure proper alignment and setup before production, and inspect finished parts using measuring tools to verify tolerances and specifications. You will also troubleshoot basic machine or process issues to minimize downtime and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company standards.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
At least 2 years of CNC lathe experience
Familiarity with machining tools, equipment, and measurement instruments
Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
Strong attention to detail and quality standards
Effective communication skills across teams
Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
Reliable attendance and flexibility to meet production needs
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
