About The Position
This position is in the Lathe Department, and it involves moving from one machine to another as needed when workload shifts. The machines include 2- and 3-axis Mazak Quick Turns and Bar feeders. The individual in this role will perform a series of complex machine operations, including setup and programming to meet precise tolerances and finishing requirements. This will involve conversational programming and performing first piece and in-process quality inspections. The individual in this position will run different grades of material and perform multiple setups a day.
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Experience performing multiple setups per day and running different grades of material
- Mazatrol conversational programming knowledge
- Strong math skills and the ability to work from detailed and involved part drawings and specifications to perform operations to the capacity of the machine and controls
Nice To Haves
- 3 to 5 years of CNC machining operation setup and programming experience
- Knowledge of metric blueprints along with GD&T
- Knowledge of 2- and 3-axis Mazak Quick Turns and Bar Feeders
