GrizzlyTrek is seeking one CNC Lathe Machinist to join our valued client’s team at a modern machine shop in Edmonton, Alberta. This is a full-time, permanent, year-round position on a Monday to Friday day shift. You are an experienced CNC turning hand with at least three years on the machines. You set your own tooling, plan your own machining sequence, read drawings and connection specifications without hand-holding, and gauge your own work with micrometers, calipers, and thread gauges. Oilfield tubular and premium connection threading experience is a strong asset, but it is not mandatory. If your CNC lathe fundamentals are solid, your background can come from OCTG or tubular manufacturing, downhole tools, wellheads, valves, pressure equipment, large-part or production turning, industrial repair shops, or general precision manufacturing. Experience on Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, Okuma, Doosan, Weiler, or similar controls, and comfort editing G-code and M-code at the machine, will move your application to the top of the list. Machinist Red Seal certification is an asset, not a requirement. Machinist is an optional certification trade in Alberta, so we assess applicants on proven ability at the machine rather than on paper alone.
