About The Position

This is a dedicated weekend shift position, working only on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Employees work three 12-hour shifts and are paid for a full 40-hour week, resulting in four consecutive days off each week. The role involves operating CNC fiber laser and/or CNC press brakes in a precision metal fabrication shop that serves agricultural, transportation, medical, commercial, and industrial customers. Requirements

• Experience operating CNC laser and/or CNC press brakes
• Machine setup experience
• Ability to read fabrication blueprints
• Strong inspection and measuring skills
• Reliable attendance and commitment to the weekend schedule
• Available to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday every week
• Must be able to complete a background check and pass a pre-employment drug test prior to starting and after offer is made.

Nice To Haves

• This isn't an entry-level role --- we need someone who can step into production and run with minimal direction after training.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC fiber laser and/or CNC press brakes
• Read blueprints, fabrication drawings, bend charts, and work orders
• Select tooling and machine parameters for each job
• Inspect first-piece and in-process parts against quality standards
• Measure parts with calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and angle gauges
• Troubleshoot routine issues and adjust machines as needed
• Run support equipment, including cold saws
• Perform routine machine maintenance
• Keep your work area clean and organized
