About The Position

Your evening on the shop floor Picture stepping onto a fast-paced sheet metal fabrication floor in Louisville, KY, setting up your work area and loading programs before second shift begins. From 3:15pm–1:45am, you’ll move between a CNC laser and a press brake, verify first-piece quality with dial and digital calipers, and keep production flowing without sacrificing precision. When parts are complete, you’ll hop on a forklift to stage materials and finished goods safely.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience running CNC lasers, press brakes, and drill presses in sheet metal fabrication (required)
• Proficiency reading prints and technical drawings
• Comfort using measuring tools, including tape measures and calipers
• Valid forklift experience (required)
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC laser and CNC press brake in a fast-paced sheet metal environment
• Use a drill press and assorted hand/power tools for secondary operations
• Read and interpret machining prints and detailed blueprints to produce accurate parts
• Measure, verify, and document quality using tape measures and dial/digital calipers
• Operate a forklift to move raw material and finished product as needed
• Meet production targets while upholding strict quality standards
