Requirements
- A high school graduate or GED
- 2+ years of manufacturing experience
- Experience using inspection equipment (calipers, gauges, micrometers, etc.)
- In depth knowledge of company products and procedures
- Proficient with MS Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong problem-solving skills; able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Able to read, analyze and interpret blueprints, customer specifications, technical procedures, and governmental regulations
- Strong communication skills; able to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal and external customers and company management
- Able to create a collaborative team environment
- Work independently with little supervision
- Exhibit ethical independence and judgment of the parts and process
- Must have US work authorization.
- Indefinite U.S work authorized individuals only. Future sponsorship for work authorization is not available.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for insuring inspection list is completed daily
- Pull and return samples as needed
- Ensure compliance with inspection processes and procedures
- Inspect parts as needed
- Process NCMRs written for line rejections
- Perform basic statistical studies as needed
- Notify supervisor and other personnel of production problems and assist in identifying problems
- Insure proper clean up and housekeeping procedures are followed
- Comply with all safety regulations
- Complete other tasks and responsibilities as assigned
- Other duties as assigned
Benefits
- The hourly range for the position is $20 - $23/hour.
