About The Position

Performs operation to prepare and assemble a variety of models of frames and/or frame sub-assemblies to quantity and quality standards for upholstered or wood frame furniture.

Requirements

Ability to sort cut frame parts and place on assembly table and/or assembly clamp.
Ability to use specification sheet as guide to assemble cut parts.
Ability to hammer in tee nut and shoot with staple to secure.
Ability to glue connecting wood parts with a brush or squirt bottle.
Ability to use a rubber mallet to hammer parts together.
Ability to use a pneumatic staple gun or pneumatic screwdriver (depending on frame) to attach wood parts together.
Ability to screw legs to frame using pneumatic screwdriver.
Ability to slide completed frame from table to place on correct pallet.

May perform other duties/ special or non-routine assignments as instructed.
