About The Position

This role is for a CNC Foreman on the night shift. The position involves planning, coordinating, and monitoring the team's daily work activities and progress, while ensuring the quality of work produced by the CNC team. The foreman will oversee all CNC functions, material movement, and machine maintenance. They will also participate in new-hire orientations and the development of new procedures, techniques, and equipment. Regular team interaction for guidance and updates, enforcement of disciplinary actions, and directing the flow of materials are key responsibilities. Additionally, the role includes reporting and coordinating equipment repairs and inspections, checking on consumable storage, and establishing open communication across departments. The ability to learn and apply new knowledge, along with excellent communication skills, is essential. Other related duties and special projects may be assigned.

Requirements

Ability to learn on the go and apply newfound knowledge as necessary.

Responsibilities

Follow ADF safety procedures and practices.
Plan, coordinate, and monitor the team’s work activities and progress daily.
Maintain the quality of work produced by the CNC team.
Oversee all CNC functions, material movement, and machine maintenance.
Participate in new-hire orientations as needed.
Participate in the development of new procedures, techniques, and equipment as needed.
Interact/meet with your team regularly to provide guidance and updates.
Enforce disciplinary actions when necessary.
Direct the flow of materials, log locations, and progress.
Report and coordinate equipment repairs and inspections.
Periodically check in on the storage of consumables for the CNC department.
Establish open lines of communication across departments to ensure knowledge of all ongoing progress and expectations.
Perform any other related duties or special projects as needed.
